Pre-Service Language Teachers’ Knowledge and Practices of Intercultural Communicative Competence

This paper reports a descriptive case study developed in an English language teaching program at public university Colombia. The purpose of this was to disclose what knowledge group pre-service teachers had about intercultural communicative competence and how they considered their approach the classes planned during final pedagogical practicum. instruments used collect data were documents, interviews, survey. outcomes meaningful for participants as well researcher since it possible identify that understand visible concept be approached classes, mainly refer learn other cultures different from Colombian Boyacense ones. It also identified considered, by these teachers, “dressing” change taste class.
